Blithe Bijou started as an idea for a creative, handmade business. I wanted a name that embodied something handmade and something that brought joy to those who came across my art. Blithe means happy and carefree and Bijou means trinket. I loved the way the words worked together and that's how this business was born! These earrings are part of the Matrescence collection. Matrescence is the process of becoming a mother and since my daughter was born I have felt a huge shift in who I am and my priorities.
